Difficult

Apparently it is a task for me to write a blog twice a week, but I must stick with it.

Why are people up in arms about Shaun Whites coach, Bud Keene, cursing on television? I can't stand when people get upset about this kind of thing. How did he know they would be able to pick it up? How did the network know he was going to say it? He said a curse word, get over it! If you're worried about your kids hearing it, trust me, they've heard the "f" world before. Probably from you.

In an article for NBC, Chris Chase puts it perfectly.
"Don't blame Bud Keene for speaking as he does. He's a grown man talking to another grown man before a gold-medal victory lap. Those two have been working for this very moment for four years. All the training runs, all the practice moves, and all the jumps into the block pit were done for those few minutes when Shaun White would win Olympic gold. If anything, his use of the "f" word paints a pretty good picture of how intense in that moment they were. Give them a break! He won a gold medal!
